Hidalgo County children’s therapy services include:
- Occupational Therapy – A child’s job is to play and learn! As a part of early intervention, occupational therapy helps improve children’s cognition, motor skills, sensory processing, and play/social interactions. Goals are tailored to each child’s individual needs but can include performance, daily activities, and play time.
- Speech Therapy – A speech or language disorder hinders a child’s ability to convey their wants and needs. Our speech-language pathologists can identify the type of communication problem and develop an individualized plan. Treatment can include language articulation therapy, intervention activities, and individualized treatments.
- Physical Therapy – For children who have movement problems from disability, disease, illness, or injury, physical therapy services are available to decrease pain, regain strength and range of motion. Our therapist will measure your child’s flexibility, strength, and analyze their gait to provide a treatment plan including home exercise instructions.
Our dedicated staff members are current on all state and federal guidelines. We are available to perform functional, thorough, and comprehensive evaluations utilizing a variety of standardized and individualized assesments that adhere to state and federal guidelines.
